Raptors 105, Timberwolves 86: DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry each collected 22 points, seven rebounds and three steals as host Toronto picked up its first win of the season.

Alan Anderson added 18 points off the bench and Andrea Bargnani scored 10 for the Raptors, who outscored Minnesota 26-13 in the fourth quarter to run away with the game.

Toronto led for the entire second half and bridged the third and fourth quarters with a 15-3 run to push the advantage to 90-76 with 8:12 remaining. Alexey Shved tried to get the Timberwolves back into the game with five points and a pair of assists over the next 4:16 but DeRozan converted four straight free throws and Anderson buried a 3-pointer to put the game away.

Minnesota led in the second quarter but allowed the Raptors to close the half on a 19-9 run. Lowry scored nine points during the burst while Anderson and Bargnani each hit a 3-pointer.

Andrei Kirilenko continued a smooth transition back into the NBA with 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting and Nikola Pekovic added 15 points for the Timberwolves.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Brandon Roy, who signed with Minnesota in the summer after sitting out last season, went 0-for-3 from the floor and committed five turnovers in 22 minutes. … Kirilenko and Pekovic were the only scorers to reach double figures for the Timberwolves. Chase Budinger, J.J. Barea and Derrick Williams each scored nine. … The Raptors went 10-of-21 from 3-point range and 15-of-17 from the free throw line.
