PISTONS 108, 76ERS 86: Ben Gordon scored 21 of his 26 points in the first half and Detroit said farewell to Ben Wallace with an easy victory over visiting Philadelphia, which finished eighth in the Eastern Conference.

Philadelphia (35-31) will open the playoffs at top-seeded Chicago on Saturday.

Wallace, who is retiring after 16 seasons - including nine with the Pistons, had a season-high 12 rebounds and seven points.

Detroit tied an NBA record with 11 3-pointers in the second quarter and essentially put the game out of reach, leading by as many as 28 points.

Rodney Stuckey had 13 points and Charlie Villaneuva had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Pistons.

Spencer Hawes had 16 points and seven rebounds for the 76ers. Jodie Meeks scored 15, Sam Young scored 12 and Evan Turner and Craig Brackins each had 10.

The Pistons took a 65-43 halftime lead on Gordon’s 7-of-7 shooting from 3-point range. He helped the Pistons go 11 of 18 on 3-pointers.

Hawes had 14 points and the Sixers shot just 36.7 percent (18 of 49).

GAME NOTEBOOK: In avoiding a season sweep, the Pistons also scored 100 points, a first for either team in the series this season. … Detroit finished 14 of 32 (43.8 percent).
