LAKERS 112, MAVERICKS 108 (OT):
Andrew Bynum collected 23 points and 16 rebounds and Pau Gasol hit some big shots in overtime as Los Angeles won its fourth straight game without Kobe Bryant.

Gasol finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds and Ramon Sessions scored 22 for the Lakers, who pushed their lead in the Pacific Division to 1 1/2 games over the Clippers.

Los Angeles grabbed the first lead in overtime before the 3-pointers began to fall. Gasol answered 3-pointers by Jason Terry and Dirk Nowitzki with a pair of his own to keep Los Angeles in control. Gasol’s free throws with 0.5 seconds left wrapped it up.

The Mavericks led by as much as 87-81 with 6:50 left in the game but could not stop the combination of Bynum and Gasol down the stretch. Bynum scored five points during a 7-2 run and then he and Gasol traded baskets with Nowitzki on consecutive possessions.

When Nowitzki finally missed one, Sessions was there to throw the counterpunch, burying a 3-pointer with 3:25 left to put Los Angeles on top, 95-93.

Jason Terry’s jumper tied it and both teams missed chances for the win in regulation.
