SPURS 105, SUNS 91: Tim Duncan had a double-double and host San Antonio dealt a blow to Phoenix's playoff hopes.

Duncan scored 13 of his team-high 19 points in the first quarter and San Antonio shot 58 percent from the floor, converting on 5 of 9 3-point attempts in the first half to build a hearty 62-38 lead by the break.

Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard chipped in with 14 points apiece to lead San Antonio to its sixth consecutive home victory over Phoenix.

Suns point guard Steve Nash tweaked his hip on a reverse layup attempt in the first quarter and didn't return. Sebastian Telfair led Phoenix with a game-high 21 points.

With the loss, the Suns dropped 1 ½ games back of Houston and Denver for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.

San Antonio begins a daunting back-to-back-to-back in Oakland against the Warriors on Monday.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Spurs improved to a league-best 25-5 at home. ... Hall of Famer David Robinson was in attendance cheering on his former club. ... Phoenix is 19-10 since Feb. 19.
