MAGIC 88, 76ERS 82: Dwight Howard had 20 points and 22 rebounds as visiting Orlando broke a five-game losing streak.

Glen Davis scored 23 points while J.J. Redick had 19, including nine in a row late in the game when the Magic took control.

For one night, the Magic were able to put the ongoing feud between Howard and coach Stan Van Gundy aside to break their longest losing streak in five years.

Howard, who sat out two games earlier this week because of back spasms, bounced back from Thursday's loss to New York when he had eight points and eight rebounds. He recorded his ninth 20-point, 20-rebound game of the season and the 41st of his career.

Howard, a 49 percent free-throw shooter, made 12 of 18 from the line.

Redick carried Orlando down the stretch. His two free throws with 5:25 remaining broke a 73-all tie. Redick added two free throws and a 3-pointer to give the Magic an 82-76 lead with 3:23 remaining.

Thaddeus Young scored 20 points for Philadelphia, which has lost nine of 13.

Trailing 61-58 late in the third quarter, Orlando went on an 11-0 run and scored the first seven points of the fourth quarter. Philadelphia rallied to take a 73-72 lead with just over six minutes remaining before Redick took over.
