HEAT 84, 76ERS 78:
LeBron James had 29 points, eight assists and seven rebounds as visiting Miami held on to beat Philadelphia for the 10th consecutive time.

Dwyane Wade added 12 points and 11 rebounds, and the Heat built a 29-point third-quarter lead and withstood a spirited comeback by the 76ers to avert a fifth straight road loss.

Miami's Udonis Haslem scored eight of his 10 points in the fourth quarter, including back-to-back jumpers, and Philadelphia could get no closer than within four points.

Evan Turner scored 13 points and Andre Iguodala had 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Sixers, who lost for the fifth straight time at home to Miami despite holding the Heat to 27 second-half points.

After the lead peaked at 29 early in the third, Philadelphia clawed within 69-56 entering the fourth quarter. It could have been closer, but Lou Williams missed 2 of 3 free throws with 0.2 left in the third.

The Heat started the game with a sizzling display of shooting, hitting 8 of 10 field goals to build a 19-5 lead en route to a 31-18 margin at the end of the first. James had 14 points in the quarter.

Philadelphia stayed within 10 points before Miami ran off 14 consecutive points and closed the first half on a 19-2 run for a commanding 57-30 halftime lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Miami has not lost five straight road games since dropping nine in a row at the end of the 2007-08 season. ... The Sixers were 12-2 with C Spencer Hawes in the lineup before he was sidelined for 17 games with an Achilles strain. They have lost both games since he came back. ... The Heat held Philadelphia without a field goal for the final 7:45 of the first half. ... The Sixers have not allowed opponents to score 100 in back-to-back games.
