76ERS 106, KNICKS 94: Lou Williams scored a season-high 28 points and visiting Philadelphia cruised in sending skidding New York to its fifth consecutive defeat.

Guard Evan Turner had his second straight double-double with 24 points and a career-high 15 rebounds as the Atlantic Division-leading Sixers extended their winning streak to three games.

Andre Iguodala added 19 points, eight assists and seven boards as Philadelphia shot 50.6 percent (40 of 74) from the floor in reaching 100 points for the third game in a row.

Carmelo Anthony scored 22 points to pace New York, which fell to 2-7 since he returned to the starting lineup and dropped 6 1/2 games behind the Sixers in the division.

Philadelphia, which led by as many as 21 points in the final quarter, seized control of the game in the third quarter as Iguodala's four-point play capped a quick 8-0 spurt to push the lead to 73-62.

Williams took over from there, scoring 12 points in the last 3 1/2 minutes of the quarter to extend the margin to 89-73 entering the final 12 minutes.

The Sixers took a 51-49 lead into halftime, going ahead for good when Thaddeus Young sparked a 13-3 second-quarter spurt.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Knicks C Tyson Chander returned to the lineup after missing two games with a hamstring injury. He had eight points and 12 rebounds in 38 1/2 minutes. New York surrendered 119 and 118 points in the two games he sat out. ... Sixers G Turner, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2010 draft, had double-digit rebounds for the third time in four games since joining the starting lineup. ... Philadelphia had gone 19 games without scoring 100 points but has reached the century mark in four of its last six games.
