BULLS 96, 76ERS 91: Derrick Rose collected 35 points and eight assists as visiting Chicago won its sixth straight game and got some revenge against slumping Philadelphia.

Joakim Noah chipped in 11 points and 18 rebounds for the Bulls, who had dropped their previous three meetings against the 76ers.

Rose, who was held to 18 points in a loss to Philadelphia earlier this season, went 12 for 23 from the floor and 4 for 7 from beyond the arc to carry Chicago.

The Bulls took the lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter, getting eight points from Luol Deng and seven from Rose during a 17-4 run to start the frame. That burst made it 81-68 with 7:50 remaining, forcing the 76ers to take a timeout.

Philadelphia would battle back, using a 10-1 run out of the timeout to cut it to a four-point game. Thaddeus Young scored on four straight possessions later in the fourth, drawing the 76ers as close as 91-89 with 1:38 to play.

But Rose came through again with 20 seconds left, making a difficult runner in the lane to get it back to a two-possession game.

Young finished with 17 points off the bench to lead Philadelphia.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The 76ers have lost seven of their last nine games. … Philadelphia leading scorer Louis Williams went 0 for 7 from the floor. … The Bulls own the best record in the NBA and will play seven of their next eight games at home.
