SPURS 114, NUGGETS 99: DeJuan Blair matched a career high with 28 points and San Antonio bounced back from a 40-point loss on Tuesday for an easy win over host Denver.

The Spurs, who saw their 11-game winning streak end with a 137-97 loss in Portland, led from wire-to-wire against the injury-riddled Nuggets. San Antonio finished 8-1 on its annual rodeo road trip.

San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich rested stars Tony Parker and Tim Duncan on Tuesday. Both returned against Denver.

Parker scored 16 points with 12 assists while Duncan had 18 points and had nine rebounds. Six Spurs scored in double figures.

Corey Brewer scored 23 points while Andre Miller added 20 for the Nuggets, who played Danilo Gallinari, Nene, Ty Lawson and Rudy Fernandez.

The Spurs were ahead 26-7 late in the first quarter and steadily built on that lead throughout the first half. The largest lead came at 60-32 late in the second period.

GAME NOTEBOOK: San Antonio was 13 for 27 on 3-pointers, including five by Richard Jefferson. ... Manu Ginobili (strained left oblique) and Tiago Splitter (right calf strain) missed their third straight game for the Spurs. ... Denver rookie Jordan Hamilton was scoreless in 27 minutes after scoring 18 points Wednesday against the Clippers.
