JAZZ 114, WIZARDS 100: Al Jefferson had a season-high 34 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as host Utah cruised.
Paul Millsap added 14 points and 12 rebounds as the Jazz notched a season-high point total and won for just the third time in 10 games.
John Wall scored 24 points and Jordan Crawford added 21 for the Wizards.
Jefferson had 26 points on 12-of-15 shooting in the first half as the Jazz took a 62-50 lead. He posted 10 points in the opening quarter and 16 in the second.
Utah broke the game open with a 28-10 spurt in the third quarter. Jefferson’s basket with 4:48 left gave the Jazz their largest lead at 92-64.
Jefferson made 16 of 23 shots while falling six points shy of matching his career-high.
Alec Burks scored 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting and Devin Harris had 12 points and nine assists for Utah, which dominated in the interior by scoring a season-best 70 points in the paint.
JaVale McGee contributed 15 points for Washington, which is 3-12 on the road.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Utah snapped a seven-game drought of failing to reach 100 points … the 30-point outing was Jefferson’s second of the season … Washington is 2-2 on a five-game road trip that concludes against the Phoenix Suns on Monday … Wizards first-round pick Jan Vesely had 10 points to score in double figures for just the second time this season.
