BULLS 89, CELTICS 80: Carlos Boozer scored 23 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as Chicago used a dominant inside game to sink visiting Boston.

Luol Deng also had a double-double with 23 points and 10 assists as the Bulls improved to 10-1 at home despite playing without star point guard Derrick Rose.

Joakim Noah added 15 points and 16 rebounds for Chicago, which dominated the backboards 52-37 and avenged a four-point loss in Boston on Sunday.

Deng and Boozer combined for nine points in a 12-0 run as Chicago broke away from a 69-69 tie to hand the Celtics their fourth loss in five games.

Kevin Garnett scored 18 points and Rajon Rondo added 17 for Boston, which has been limited to fewer than 81 points for the fourth time in the last five meetings with Chicago.

The Bulls seemingly broke the game open by scoring the first seven points of the third quarter to take a 16-point lead at 51-35, but Ray Allen came to life by burying three 3-pointers in the final four minutes of the quarter to help the Celtics cut the deficit to 60-59.

Noah had scored 10 points in a 22-5 spurt to close the first half that made it 44-35 entering the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rose sat out his fourth consecutive game with back spasms. He's listed as day-to-day. ... Boston scored only 11 points and was outrebounded 19-3 in the second quarter. The Bulls are the league's second-best rebounding team while the Celtics rank 29th. ... The Celtics were playing in only their 10th game on the road compared to 20 away from home for Chicago.
