from the free-throw line, sinking all 12 attempts.
The Raptors
led by 12 points early in the fourth quarter and were still up 94-87
after Bargnani’s jumper with 42.5 seconds left. But Phoenix cut its
deficit to 96-94 on Jared Dudley’s steal and dunk with 22.9 seconds
left.
Bargnani added two free throws and Jose Calderon hit one as
Toronto held on to defeat the Suns for the first time since Feb. 10,
2004.
The Suns led by 13 points with seven minutes left in the
half, but Toronto received a spark from Barbosa as the former Phoenix
player scored 11 consecutive Raptors points in one stretch. The Suns led
52-48 at halftime.
