Leandro Barbosa scored 19 points and James Johnson added 18 points and 10 rebounds as Toronto snapped a 14-game losing streak against the Suns.

Marcin Gortat had 21 points and 12 rebounds, Steve Nash had 17 points and 14 assists and Hakim Warrick scored 17 points for Phoenix.

Bargnani scored 18 points in the third quarter that ended with Toronto holding an eight-point lead. Bargnani missed six straight games but wasn’t rusty from the free-throw line, sinking all 12 attempts.

The Raptors led by 12 points early in the fourth quarter and were still up 94-87 after Bargnani’s jumper with 42.5 seconds left. But Phoenix cut its deficit to 96-94 on Jared Dudley’s steal and dunk with 22.9 seconds left.

Bargnani added two free throws and Jose Calderon hit one as Toronto held on to defeat the Suns for the first time since Feb. 10, 2004.

The Suns led by 13 points with seven minutes left in the half, but Toronto received a spark from Barbosa as the former Phoenix player scored 11 consecutive Raptors points in one stretch. The Suns led 52-48 at halftime.
