Jrue Holiday and Elton Brand scored 17 points apiece as the Philadelphia 76ers took control from the outset and extended their dominance of the visiting Washington Wizards with a 103-83 rout on Monday night.

Jodie Meeks added 15 points and Thaddeus Young and Louis Williams netted 14 apiece to power Philadelphia to its fifth consecutive double-digit victory over the Wizards, dropping them to 0-7 on the road.

The Sixers used a 15-0 first-quarter run to break the game open and never were threatened in the opener of a seven-game homestand.

Jordan Crawford scored 17 points to pace Washington, which fell to a league-worst 2-15 and lost for the third time in 11 days to the Sixers by an average margin of 21.3 points.

Philadelphia got 11 early points from Brand and closed the first quarter with a 22-4 run to take a commanding 33-14 lead.

Young and Holiday scored nine points apiece to pace a blistering shooting attack as the Sixers built a 62-32 halftime cushion. Philadelphia shot 65 percent (26 of 40) in the opening half.
