Jrue Holiday scored nine of his game-high 24 points in the third quarter, allowing the Philadelphia 76ers to remain unbeaten at home with a 94-82 triumph over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday afternoon.
Holiday shot 10 of 16 from the field and added five assists and a season-high five steals as the Sixers (10-3) improved to 5-0 at Wells Fargo Center. Andre Iguodala chipped in with 21 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks in Philadelphia's ninth win in the last 10 games.
Andrew Bogut had 20 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks for the Bucks (4-8), who are winless in eight road games on the season.
After his 11 points helped the 76ers build a 47-43 halftime advantage, Holiday caught fire early in the third. The third-year guard knocked down three straight shots - including a long 3-pointer with the shot clock winding down - as Philadelphia extended its advantage to nine.
Iguodala hit his own long 3 later in the quarter, and added a thunderous dunk to finish off a fast break as the Sixers enjoyed a 76-62 advantage after three.
The Bucks trimmed the deficit to nine on a Bogut jumper with 7:09 remaining, but Louis Williams answered with a 3-pointer and Milwaukee didn't challenge the rest of the way.
