Marcus Thornton scored 21 points and DeMarcus Cousins collected 15 points and 13 rebounds as the Sacramento Kings edged the host Golden State Warriors, 104-103, on Sunday.

Tyreke Evans shot just 3 of 13 from the floor but went 7 of 8 from the line to finish with 14 points. He chipped in five rebounds and five assists for the Kings (24-56), who snapped a two-game slide.

Sacramento trailed 89-81 early in the fourth before making a charge with an 11-0 burst over the next six minutes. The Warriors got it back with two consecutive baskets, but Evans knocked down a 3-pointer and Thornton drove for a layup to put the Kings up, 97-93, with 3:18 to play.

Thornton scored the final six points for Sacramento to close it out.

Stephen Curry recorded 27 points, eight assists and six rebounds and David Lee added 24 points and 14 boards for Golden State (35-45), which had beaten three playoff teams in a row entering the contest.
