Amar'e Stoudemire had 26 points and eight rebounds, and the New York Knicks overcame big games from Danny Granger and Darren Collison to beat the Indiana Pacers 98-92 on Sunday at Madison Square Garden.

Stoudemire was saddled with foul trouble and limited to 10 points in the first half, but he came on strong late, scoring nine points in the fourth quarter and six in the last three minutes.

Danilo Gallinari added 19 points, one of six Knicks in double figures. Toney Douglas had 12 points and seven assists.

Granger, who averaged 29 points in three games against the Knicks last season, had 25 points and 17 rebounds, and Collison added 22 points, five rebounds and six assists. But it was enough for the Pacers (14-18), who have lost eight straight on the road and eight of 11 overall.

It's just the third win in the past eight games for the Knicks (19-14), who trailed by as many as nine in the first quarter.
