Amar'e Stoudemire poured in 39 points and added 11 rebounds as the New York Knicks survived a career night from Blake Griffin en route to a 124-115 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.

Stoudemire shot 14-for-24 from the field and helped the Knicks build a five-point halftime lead they wouldn't relinquish. Danilo Gallinari added 31 points and Raymond Felton chipped in with 20 points and seven assists in New York's third straight win.

Griffin, who missed his entire rookie season with a serious knee injury, erupted for a career-best 44 points to go along with 15 rebounds and seven assists. Eric Gordon added 25 points and Randy Foye 14 in defeat.
