Monta Ellis scored 26 points and David Lee had 24 points and 10 rebounds as the Golden State Warriors edged the visiting New Jersey Nets 109-100 Monday afternoon.

The Warriors (17-23) shot 49 percent from the field to earn their second consecutive victory.

Brook Lopez had 20 points and Devin Harris added 19 for the Nets (10-31), who lost their sixth straight game and 10th in a row on the road.

Golden State led 54-46 at the half and never trailed again. The Nets cut the deficit to 59-56 in the third quarter on a tip-in by Lopez but never got any closer.

The Warriors got a big 3-pointer by Stephen Curry with 1:57 to play take an eight-point lead and cruised the rest of the way.
