De'Aaron Fox saved five of his 15 points for the second overtime, Domantas Sabonis had a triple-double and the Sacramento Kings outlasted the Orlando Magic 138-135 on Wednesday night.
Held to 10 points in the first 53 minutes, Fox connected twice from the interior in the second overtime, the final time breaking the game's last tie with 58.1 seconds left.
He then hit one of two free throws with 13.6 seconds remaining for the final margin of victory as the Kings won for the third time in four games by overcoming a career-best, 43-point night from Orlando's Paolo Banchero.
The Magic also lost Frank Wagner to a sprained right ankle in the sixth minute.
Sabonis finished with 22 points, 23 rebounds and 12 assists for his seventh triple-double of the season and the eighth 20-point, 20-board game of his career. It was his first career triple-double that included at least 20 points and 20 rebounds.
In a game matching two teams playing the second night of a back-to-back set, both teams rallied late to produce the two extra sessions.
Malik Monk set up the first overtime on a tying layup with 10 seconds remaining in regulation.
Banchero capped a personal nine-point show in the first extra five minutes -- he scored all of Orlando's points in that session -- by sinking a tying layup with 1.1 seconds left.
Wagner got hurt before the midpoint of the first quarter when he landed awkwardly as he attempted to prevent a Keegan Murray layup. He left the floor immediately and did not return.
Riding a 40-point second period, the Kings led by as many as 16 and still retained a 96-89 edge with 10:25 to go before a personal 11-point flurry by Chuma Okeke flipped the score and set up the tight finish.
Monk paced Sacramento with a season-high 37 points and added nine assists. Murray chipped in with 28 points and 12 rebounds, while Harrison Barnes had 17 points and Trey Lyles finished with 10.
Fox, who shot just 6-for-22, found time for seven assists.
Banchero's 43 points were one more than the career high he established on Dec. 6 at Cleveland.
Jalen Suggs had 24 points and Caleb Houstan 15 points for Orlando, which lost its third game in a row. Wendell Carter Jr. totaled nine points and a team-high-tying seven rebounds, and Trevelin Queen had five points with a team-best six assists.
