SAN ANTONIO -- Tim Duncan scored 22 points as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the depleted Phoenix Suns 107-91 on Sunday night at the AT&T Center.

The Spurs forward added 10 rebounds in San Antonio's 11th straight overall victory.

San Antonio guard forward Kawhi Leonard tallied 18 points and nine rebounds and guard Marco Belinelli scored 13 points off the bench to help the NBA champions closed out the home portion of their regular-season schedule with their ninth win at the AT&T Center.

Duncan also passed Moses Malone for 11th all-time in NBA history for most games played (1,330).

Phoenix's loss ensured the Suns would have more losses than wins when their season wraps up on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Clippers. Suns guard Gerald Green tallied a game-high 23 points off the bench on 8-of-16 shooting. Green only scored three points in the fourth quarter.

San Antonio (55-26) now has one more win than the Memphis Grizzlies and moves into first place in the Southwest Division standings and into second in the conference standings. Memphis plays Golden State on Monday.

Phoenix (39-42) tried derailing San Antonio's chase for a higher playoff seed without many key players, including guard Brandon Knight, who was out with a left ankle sprain.

The Suns cut a 51-39 halftime deficit to within eight points a third quarter where Phoenix outscored San Antonio by a point.

But San Antonio made sure the win streak stayed intact heading into its final game of the season at New Orleans on Wednesday.

San Antonio guard Tony Parker turned a steal into a breakaway layup with 6:34 left in the fourth quarter, capping a stretch of nine straight points that forced Phoenix coach Jeff Hornacek to call a timeout. Parker's basket gave San Antonio a 95-75 lead.

The run effectively finished off the Suns. Parker finished with 10 points.

NOTES: Spurs C Tiago Splitter missed his fifth straight game on Sunday night. He sat with tightness in his right calf. Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said if it was a playoff game, the Brazilian would have played. Splitter is averaging 9.2 points in 19.8 minutes this season... Spurs F Matt Bonner was ruled out because of tightness in his right calf... The Spurs entered the game Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said G Reggie Bullock was out against San Antonio because of concussion-like symptoms following a collision suffered against New Orleans on April 10... Coming into Sunday's game, the Suns needed wins in the final two games to finish with a .500 record for the 10th time in the last 11 years.
