Pistons 111, Magic 97: Reggie Jackson recorded 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his second triple-double in the last five games as visiting Detroit pulled away from Orlando for its fourth straight win.

Tayshaun Prince contributed a season-high 23 points off the bench while Andre Drummond scored 16 and grabbed nine rebounds for the Pistons. Jodie Meeks chipped in with 12 points, Anthony Tolliver had 11 and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 10 for Detroit, which forced 17 turnovers and committed only seven.

Tobias Harris led the way with 21 points and Nikola Vucevic scored 20 to go along with 14 rebounds for the Magic, who lost for the ninth time in 10 contests. Victor Oladipo registered 16 points while rookie Elfrid Payton scored 14 and dished out a season-high 13 assists for Orlando.

Prince scored 14 in the first half and the Pistons led by as many as eight in the second quarter before the Magic scored nine of the last 11 to close within 54-53 at intermission. Jackson scored 17 points in the third quarter, including nine during a 16-6 burst to give Detroit a nine-point lead that swelled to 85-70 later after Meeks’ 3-pointer.

The Pistons led by 11 going into the fourth quarter and Prince had a pair of baskets during an 8-2 spurt that increased their advantage to 100-84 with 7:34 to go. A basket by Harris cut the deficit to 101-89 before Meeks made a jumper and Prince followed with a three-point play as Detroit cruised to their third straight victory over Orlando.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Shaquille O’Neal was inducted into the Magic Hall of Fame on Friday and was honored during the game. … Detroit rookie G Spencer Dinwiddie had seven points and six assists while Pistons C Joel Anthony added four blocks – both off the bench. … Magic C Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) was held out while Detroit F Greg Monroe missed his sixth straight contest with a knee injury. … Orlando shot 61.5 percent from the field in the first half and finished at 52.4 overall, but made only 3-of-15 from behind the 3-point arc.
