Hawks 96, Suns 87: Paul Millsap had 23 points, nine rebounds, three steals and three blocks as visiting Atlanta rallied down the stretch to beat Phoenix.

NBA 3-point leader Kyle Korver shot 3-for-4 from 3-point range and scored 14 points for the Hawks, who have won eight of their last 10. Al Horford added 12 points and seven rebounds and DeMarre Carroll, Dennis Schroder and Kent Bazemore scored 11 points apiece for East-leading Atlanta.

Markieff Morris scored 22 points with five steals and twin brother Marcus Morris scored 18 for the Suns, who committed 18 turnovers that led to 28 Atlanta points. Eric Bledsoe had 21 points and six assists and P.J. Tucker was the other starter in double figures with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Millsap, Korver and Bazemore made 3-pointers in a 9-0 run that gave Atlanta an 86-79 lead with 4:01 left and it never trailed again. Bledsoe and Brandan Wright made baskets to twice pull the Suns back within five, but Korver and Millsap again converted from long range and the lead was up to 94-85 with 1:31 on the clock.

Korver knotted the score at 50 with a jumper on the first possession of the second half but it was all Phoenix for the next four minutes as the Suns unleashed an 11-0 run to go up by double digits, and the Suns kept the Hawks from getting within five for the remainder of the quarter before taking a 73-65 lead in to the fourth. The Hawks regrouped to start the fourth and scored eight of the first 10 points to pull within two before tying the score at 77 on Horford's second straight jumper with 8:06 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Suns C Alex Len limped off with 6:58 left after appearing to injure his ankle while trying to defend Schroder's drive to the basket. ... Suns rookie G T.J. Warren, coming off a season-high 17 points, was held to two on 1-4 shooting. ... Atlanta backup F Mike Scott missed the game with a left big toe strain and Phoenix PG Brandon Knight missed his second straight game with an ankle injury.
