Amar'e Stoudemire added 20 points and a team-high seven rebounds for the Knicks, who ended an 11-game road losing streak. Tim Hardaway Jr. chipped in 16 points off the bench and fellow reserve Jason Smith had 12.

Jeff Green poured in 28 points and Tyler Zeller added 19 to lead the Celtics, who have lost three straight. Evan Turner and Marcus Thornton scored 13 apiece, Kelly Olynyk added 11 and Rajon Rondo dished out 10 assists.

The Celtics trimmed a double-digit deficit to two points in the opening minute of the fourth quarter, but Shane Larkin stopped the rally with a 3-pointer that set off an 11-0 run, and Anthony's jumper made it 90-75 with 5:43 left. Boston made one more surge to get within 99-95 in the final minute before Anthony hit a pair of free throws and blocked a shot to seal it.

The Knicks led by as many as 10 points in the first quarter but let Boston come all the way back to take a 31-30 lead on a Brandon Bass three-point play with 9:26 left in the half before reclaiming a 51-46 advantage on Hardaway's 3-pointer just before the break. New York had it back out to 11 points in the third quarter before allowing the Celtics to creep within 75-69 entering the fourth.
