Jimmy Butler scored 16 points and Mike Dunleavy added 15 as the Bulls won for the seventh time in the last eight meetings. Joakim Noah tallied 14 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four blocks and Carlos Boozer contributed 12 points and 11 rebounds for Chicago, which avoided its first consecutive losses since Feb. 1 and 3.

Thaddeus Young scored 24 points to lead the 76ers, who are four losses shy of matching the NBA record of 26 straight set by the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers. Tony Wroten racked up 17 points and seven assists and Michael Carter-Williams had 16 points, nine rebounds and seven assists as Philadelphia lost its 17th consecutive home game — also a franchise mark.

The Sixers pulled even at 85 on Young's 3-pointer with 7:43 left before missing three straight layups, and Chicago capitalized with 3-pointers from Butler and Augustin for a six-point lead. Philadelphia didn't get closer than three points the rest of the way and came up empty on its last four possessions as the Bulls sealed it at the line.

Butler's three-point play set off an 8-0 run midway through the second quarter as the Bulls extended their lead to 41-30, but Chicago's sloppy play allowed the 76ers to hang around. It was 52-45 at halftime and 75-69 entering the fourth before Philadelphia hit four 3-pointers in the first 4:17 of the final period to pull even.
