Nuggets 120, Magic 112: Kenneth Faried scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds while Wilson Chandler added 21 points and 10 boards as visiting Denver outlasted Orlando.

J.J. Hickson contributed 20 points and nine rebounds for the Nuggets, who had a 52-38 edge on the boards and made 10-of-22 from 3-point range. Ty Lawson recorded 17 points and 12 assists and Darrell Arthur scored 14 for Denver, which trailed by as much as 13 in the first half.

Arron Afflalo registered 24 points while Nikola Vucevic chipped in with 20 points and 16 rebounds as the Magic lost their fourth straight contest. Jameer Nelson had 19 points and nine assists and Victor Oladipo scored 15 off the bench for Orlando.

Vucevic scored 16 in the first half as the Magic led by as much as 40-27 in the second quarter before Faried and Chandler helped Denver surge in front 52-50 at intermission. Faried and Chandler combined for 25 points in the opening half and Lawson dished out six assists for the Nuggets.

Orlando was within two before Denver scored 15 of the final 21 points – six each by Chandler and Faried -- to take an 85-74 lead into the final 12 minutes. Nelson’s 3-pointer pulled the Magic within 110-105 with 2:36 to go before Aaron Brooks drained a 3-pointer and made another basket with 43 seconds left for a 117-110 lead to seal it.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lawson has averaged 22.8 points in the last six games since returning from a rib injury. … Vucevic has recorded double-doubles in eight straight games and boasts 32 on the season. … The Nuggets have won five of the last six meetings against Orlando, including a 120-94 rout at Denver on Jan. 11.
