Raptors 104, Hawks 83: All-Star DeMar DeRozan poured in 31 points as host Toronto went into the break with a one-sided win over Atlanta.

On the verge of his first All-Star appearance, DeRozan shot 11-of-19 from the field as the Raptors won their second straight. Kyle Lowry added 16 points and 13 assists while Patrick Patterson added 14 points.

Gustavo Ayon's 18 points and 10 rebounds paced the Hawks, who have dropped five straight games to slip below the .500 mark for the first time Dec. 2. Paul Millsap added 17 points while Jeff Teague had 13.

Atlanta rode seven points from Millsap to a 24-19 advantage, but couldn't make the lead stand. Six straight points from DeRozan surged Toronto in front with just over five minutes remaining in the second quarter, and the teams traded leads until Terrence Ross buried a 3-pointer from the top of the arc inside 30 seconds left to send the Raptors into the half ahead 45-44.

Toronto scored the first seven points of the third quarter to take charge, went ahead 71-60 on Patterson's 3-pointer off a Lowry feed and entered the fourth with a 78-65 advantage. The lead grew to 18 on Steve Novak's 3-pointer with 9:32 remaining, and Toronto cruised from there.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Raptors PF Amir Johnson missed his second straight game with an ankle injury, while the Hawks were without F DeMarre Carroll due to a wonky left hamstring. ... Atlanta had assists on its first 14 field goals. ... Atlanta won the points in the paint battle 50-32 but committed 16 turnovers leading to 20 Toronto points.
