Spurs 112, Mavericks 90: Tony Parker tallied 25 points and seven assists in 29 minutes and Tim Duncan added 16 points and 13 rebounds as San Antonio blew out visiting Dallas on the second night of back-to-backs for both teams.

Marco Belinelli scored 17 points off the bench for the Spurs, who were without Manu Ginobili (hamstring) and Tiago Splitter (shoulder). Kawhi Leonard added 12 points and eight boards as San Antonio shot 52.6 percent and outrebounded Dallas 55-32 in beating the Mavericks for the seventh straight time.

Monta Ellis scored 21 points and Vince Carter added 14 off the bench for Dallas, which had a four-game road winning streak halted. Dirk Nowitzki struggled to eight points on 3-of-14 shooting.

The Spurs were in control from the start, racing out to a 13-4 lead and never trailing. They led by as many as 12 in the first quarter before settling for a 45-38 halftime advantage behind 12 points from Leonard and 11 from Parker.

Ellis kept Dallas within striking distance for much of the third quarter, but Belinelli scored seven points during an 11-0 spurt and San Antonio took a 20-point lead into the final stanza. The Spurs were able to rest their starters in the fourth quarter without allowing the Mavericks to get back in it.

GAME NOTEBOOK: San Antonio improved to 14-0 when shooting better than the opposition from the field and 17-0 when winning the rebounding battle. … Nowitzki joined Derek Harper as the only players in franchise history with 1,000 steals. He became the fifth player in NBA history with 25,000 points, 9,000 rebounds, 3,000 assists and 1,000 steals (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Hakeem Olajuwon, Kevin Garnett). … Mavericks SF Shawn Marion (shoulder, ribs) sat out and is expected to miss at least one more game.
