Jazz 83, Bobcats 80: Trey Burke scored 21 points as Utah defeated visiting Charlotte for the 10th consecutive time.

Alec Burks added 14 points and Marvin Williams had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Jazz. Derrick Favors also scored 13 points as Utah improved to 5-10 at home.

Gerald Henderson scored 19 points for the Bobcats, who lost their third consecutive outing. Kemba Walker tallied 18 points and Al Jefferson contributed 18 points and 10 rebounds for Charlotte, which shot just 36.9 percent from the field.

The Bobcats trailed by 10 at the start of the fourth quarter before rattling off a 12-2 burst to tie the contest at 65. Charlotte possessed a 77-76 lead after Walker’s putback with 1:17 remaining before Favors delivered a go-ahead dunk with 58 seconds left and Burke barely beat the shot clock with a running bank to make it 80-77 with 19.1 seconds to go.

Utah held the Bobcats to 34.2 percent shooting in the first half en route to a 42-34 lead at the break. The Jazz boosted the lead to 14 midway through the third quarter before taking a 63-53 advantage into the final stanza.
