Kings 108, Heat 103 (OT): DeMarcus Cousins had 27 points and 17 rebounds and Rudy Gay scored 26 points as host Sacramento halted its streak of 10 straight losses to Miami.

Isaiah Thomas added 22 points and 11 assists as the Kings overcame a late deficit in regulation and dominated the overtime. Sacramento’s comeback halted the Heat’s streak of consecutive wins over Western Conference teams at 19, one shy of the NBA record.

LeBron James had 33 points, eight rebounds and eight assists and Chris Bosh added 18 points for the Heat, who played without guards Dwyane Wade and Ray Allen. Norris Cole added 13 points off the bench for Miami, which had its six-game winning streak snapped.

Sacramento was down four with 1:19 left in regulation when Mario Chalmers was called for a flagrant 1 foul and Cousins hit two free throws before Gay added a tying turnaround jumper 18 seconds later. James missed a last-second 3-pointer and the Kings got a 3-pointer from Gay and a short jumper by Thomas to start the overtime and led by eight before James hit three 3-pointers in the final 45 seconds to make the final margin closer.

Miami led 55-45 at halftime before making just 5-of-18 shots in the third quarter. Sacramento was 11-of-16 in the period while outscoring the Heat by 11 points to take a 74-73 edge into the fourth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Wade and Allen sat to rest their knees with the Heat finishing a back-to-back at Portland on Saturday, and F Chris Andersen (back) also missed the game. … Sacramento outrebounded Miami 51-35 and had a 60-38 edge in points in the paint. … The Boston Celtics possess the record of 20 straight regular-season victories against teams from the West, a streak that ended in 1973.
