Kings 112, Mavericks 97: DeMarcus Cousins had 32 points and matched a season high with 19 rebounds and Derrick Williams scored a career-high 31 points as host Sacramento routed Dallas.

Point guard Isaiah Thomas scored 24 points and recorded a career-best 12 assists after assuming the starting position. The Kings officially announced the seven-player deal earlier Monday that sent point guard Greivis Vasquez to Toronto as part of the package to acquire forward Rudy Gay.

Monta Ellis scored 21 points and Dirk Nowitzki added 18 for the Mavericks, who had a three-game winning streak halted. Jose Calderon added 11 points for Dallas.

Gay watched his new team play from an arena suite and Cousins already had a double-double by halftime with 19 points and 10 rebounds. The Kings led 57-47 at the break before Williams (13) and Cousins (11) combined for 24 third-quarter points for a 92-73 lead entering the final stanza.

The lead was extended to 24 early in the fourth quarter as the Kings continued the assault before the bench was cleared with 4:02 to play. The victory was the second straight for Sacramento following a six-game skid.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Cousins posted his ninth double-double and his fourth 30-point outing of the campaign. … The Mavericks were outrebounded 51-39 and shot 38.9 percent from the field, including 5-of-27 from 3-point range. … Sacramento also acquired frontcourt players Aaron Gray and Quincy Acy in the deal that includes forwards John Salmons, Patrick Patterson and Chuck Hayes going to Toronto.
