Thunder 97, Kings 95: Kevin Durant posted 27 points and 11 rebounds and visiting Oklahoma City withstood a late rally to hold off Sacramento for its eighth straight win.

Russell Westbrook finished with 15 points, eight boards and seven assists for the Thunder, who improved to 4-3 on the road. Jeremy Lamb and Reggie Jackson chipped in off the bench, combining for 27 points, and Serge Ibaka added 13 to go with nine rebounds for Oklahoma City.

Isaiah Thomas scored 24 points - all but three in the fourth quarter - to lead the Kings, who lost for the fifth time in as many games. Ben McLemore contributed 14 points for Sacramento, which capitalized on 17 Thunder turnovers for 23 points.

Oklahoma City fell behind 31-19 after the opening quarter but roared into the break, outscoring the Kings 31-16 in the second quarter to take a 50-47 halftime lead. Durant had 18 points at intermission to pace the Thunder while Derrick Williams' 11 points led all Sacramento scorers in the first half.

Oklahoma City limited the Kings to just 18 points in the third quarter, extending its lead to 78-65 as Durant, Westbrook and Nick Collison each totaled six points in the frame. Thomas scored 21 of Sacramento's 30 points in the final quarter to help pull within 97-95 with a shade over 37 seconds remaining before his 14-footer at the buzzer wouldn't go.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Oklahoma City has won seven straight against Sacramento and 15 of the last 16. ... Kings C DeMarcus Cousins missed the game with a sprained left ankle suffered on Sunday against Golden State. ... Sacramento has trailed by 10 points or more in 12 of its 16 games this season.
