Wizards 108, Hawks 101:
John Wall tallied 26 points, 12 assists and five steals and Trevor Ariza added 24 points as host Washington beat Atlanta for just the third time in the last 21 meetings.

Martell Webster scored 19 points and Nene collected 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Wizards, who have won eight games in November for the first time since 1984. Marcin Gortat contributed 12 points and seven boards for Washington, which has won four of its last five.

Paul Millsap led the Hawks with 23 points and 10 rebounds, pacing six players in double figures. Al Horford scored 16, Jeff Teague added 15 and Shelvin Mack tallied 11 points, six assists and four steals off the bench.

The Wizards led 54-44 at halftime and stretched it to 66-48 on back-to-back baskets by Nene, prompting an Atlanta timeout with 8:10 left in the third. The Hawks responded with a 15-3 spurt to get within six before letting it slip to 79-70 entering the final stanza.

Atlanta scored the first six points of the fourth quarter and cut it to 81-79 on Millsap's 3-pointer with 9:41 left, but Ariza's 3-pointer started a six-point surge for Washington. Millsap hit another 3-pointer to get the Hawks within five with two minutes remaining, but the Wizards sealed it by making 11 of 13 free throws in the final 1:46.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Atlanta SF Kyle Korver missed his third straight game with bruised ribs. … Washington improved to 4-0 on the second night of back-to-back sets while Atlanta dropped to 3-3. … Teague suffered a rib contusion in the first half but was able to return.
