Pacers 97, Heat 93: Roy Hibbert collected 29 points and 10 rebounds and Paul George scored 22 as visiting Indiana evened the Eastern Conference finals at a game apiece.

George Hill scored four of his 18 points in the final minute and David West had two key deflections down the stretch to go along with 13 points for the Pacers, who host Game 3 on Sunday.

LeBron James scored 36 points but could not get a shot off on the final three possessions for Miami. Chris Bosh added 17 points and Dwyane Wade scored 14 for the Heat.

Hill’s two free throws gave Indiana a 95-93 edge with 48 seconds left, and James turned it over on each of Miami’s next two possessions. Hill knocked down two more from the line with 8.3 seconds left to put the game away.

Bosh capped a 7-0 run with a 3-pointer to give the Heat their biggest lead of the night at 88-84 with 6:09 left. The Pacers called timeout and quickly got back into it, scoring the next five points to re-take the lead as it went back and forth into the final minute.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Indiana led by as many as 13 points late in the second quarter but the Heat chopped it to 53-47 at the break and knotted it up less than five minutes into the third. … The Pacers are 6-0 at home in the 2012-13 postseason. … James’ 36 points marked a 2012-13 playoff high for the superstar, who went 14-for-20 from the field but committed five turnovers.
