Spurs 104, Grizzlies 93 (OT): Tim Duncan scored seven of his 24 points in overtime while contributing 10 rebounds and five assists as San Antonio downed host Memphis to take a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference finals.

Tony Parker tallied six of his 26 points in the extra session and the Spurs made 8-of-10 field-goal attempts while outscoring the Grizzlies 18-7. Manu Ginobili had his best game of the series with 19 points, and San Antonio can reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 2007 with a road win in Monday’s Game 4.

Mike Conley scored 20 points and Marc Gasol had 16 points and 14 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who suffered their first home loss of the postseason. Quincy Pondexter added 15 points and Zach Randolph had 14 points and 15 rebounds for Memphis.

The Grizzlies had a chance to win in regulation but Conley’s driving attempt was off the mark. Duncan scored San Antonio’s first five points of overtime and his tip-in with 37.7 seconds left gave the Spurs a nine-point lead.

Memphis led by as many as 18 points in the opening quarter as Conley accumulated all five of his steals and the Grizzlies forced eight turnovers over the first 12 minutes. The Spurs were within 44-40 at halftime and took their initial lead of the game at 67-65 on Danny Green’s 3-pointer 15 seconds into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The overtime game was the second straight in the series and the fourth in the past nine playoff games for the Spurs. Three of Memphis’ last five postseason games have extended past regulation. … Grizzlies F Tayshaun Prince was limited to 21 minutes after spraining his right ankle in the first half. He scored seven points. … Parker committed seven of San Antonio’s 17 turnovers. ... Duncan's double-double was the 144th of his playoff career, moving him past Wilt Chamberlain into sole possession of second place on the all-time list. Magic Johnson (157) is the all-time leader.
