The Clippers, who have won five in a row and have two games left, are now tied with Memphis - both teams sitting a half-game behind third-place Denver. Los Angeles owns the tiebreaker with the Grizzlies and would open a possible first-round postseason matchup at home.

The Grizzlies battled back to within one point on two occasions down the stretch, but never caught up as they made only one basket and hit just 2-of-5 free throws in the final 4:47. After Paul's free throw made it 89-87 with 18 seconds left, Jordan blocked Mike Conley's shot with 12 ticks remaining and the Grizzlies turned the ball over with five seconds remaining to all but seal it.
