Heat 109, Bobcats 77: LeBron James barely missed a triple-double with 32 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds as host Miami pulled away in the second half for its 26th consecutive victory.

Chris Bosh and Norris Cole scored 15 points apiece and Ray Allen had 14 as the Heat moved within seven games of the league's all-time win streak held by the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers.

Despite playing without All-Star guard Dwyane Wade (sore knee), Miami made it 17 straight wins at home to move to 41 games over .500 for the first time in franchise history.

Kemba Walker scored 20 points and backcourt mate Gerald Henderson added 18 for league-worst Charlotte, which dropped its 11th consecutive decision to Miami.

The Bobcats bolted to a 19-8 lead - marking the fourth straight game in which Heat trailed by double digits - before James scored 10 straight points in a 15-0 run for a 23-19 lead after one. The Heat led by eight at half before breaking it open with a 14-3 burst to close the third quarter for a 73-57 edge.

GAME NOTEBOOK: James has scored 63 points on 24-of-28 shooting in the past two meetings with Charlotte. ... Allen, who received three stitches in his lip in Friday's game, hit 4-of-5 3-point attempts as Miami tied Denver for the league's best home record at 32-3. ... Rookie F Michael Kidd-Gilchrist had 13 points and 10 boards for the Bobcats.
