Nuggets 108, Suns 93: Kosta Koufos scored a career-high 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as visiting Denver extended its winning streak to a season high-tying nine games.

Corey Brewer had 20 points off the bench and Ty Lawson scored 19 as the Nuggets improved to 19-4 in their last 23 games with their fourth straight road win.

Wesley Johnson scored 18 points and Marcus Morris had 16 for Phoenix, which lost for the seventh time in eight matchups against Denver.

Phoenix led by as many as seven points in the second quarter before the Nuggets closed the half on a 17-7 run to take a 53-50 lead into the break. Denver went up by nine points in the third but the Suns pulled within 80-74 entering the fourth.

After the Nuggets moved ahead by 13, Phoenix battled back to cut the deficit to seven before Denver finally broke the game open with a 13-3 surge for a 105-88 margin.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Wilson Chandler had 11 points and Kenneth Faried added 10 as the Nuggets scored 74 points in the paint. ... Suns backup C Hamed Haddadi scored a career-high 13 points and had eight rebounds. ... Denver F Andre Iguodala had three steals, giving him 23 in his last seven games.
