Warriors 108, Suns 98: Klay Thompson came out on fire and finished with 28 points as Golden State knocked off visiting Phoenix to snap a season-high six-game losing streak.

Jarrett Jack added 21 points off the bench, Stephen Curry had 20 and 11 assists and David Lee collected 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Warriors, who won for the first time since beating the Suns 113-93 at home on Feb. 2.

Goran Dragic recorded 20 points and 10 assists and Jermaine O’Neal had 17 points and 12 rebounds as Phoenix failed to record back-to-back road wins.

Thompson scored 14 points in the first quarter as Golden State came out strong and opened up a 33-26 lead. The Warriors pushed it to as much as 11 points in the second quarter before settling for a 57-49 lead at the break.

The Suns drew within a point twice in the third quarter but never managed to take the lead. Phoenix scored the first six points of the fourth quarter to cut it to 85-82 but went the next 2 1/2 minutes without a point as Golden State stretched it back out.

Jack’s 3-pointer with 6:41 left made it 94-84 and the Warriors survived another short burst by the Suns before Curry and Jack combined for eight points on a 10-2 run to put the game away.

The Warriors had allowed an average of 117.5 points during its losing streak but locked down in the fourth quarter against Phoenix.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Suns reportedly made a trade on Wednesday night that will reunite Markieff Morris with brother Marcus, who was acquired from the Houston Rockets in exchange for a second-round draft pick. … Golden State C Andrew Bogut was playing on the second night of a back-to-back for the first time since returning from an ankle injury and collected seven points and 11 rebounds in 29 minutes. … Phoenix dropped to 6-24 on the road. The Suns had beaten the Trail Blazers in Portland on Tuesday night.
