Nets 97, Bucks 94: Deron Williams scored 23 points and visiting Brooklyn overcame Brandon Jennings' scorching start and Milwaukee's furious late rally to sweep a home-and-home set.

Jennings, who had 34 points in an overtime loss in Brooklyn on Tuesday night, hit his first nine shots in this one and finished with 31 points and 11 assists. Once he cooled off, however, the Bucks fell apart until a desperate comeback bid fell short on three missed free throws by Monta Ellis with two seconds left.

C.J. Watson scored 17 points and Andray Blatche had 12 and 12 boards for the Nets. Larry Sanders and Ersan Ilyasova combined for 24 points, 25 rebounds and seven blocks for Milwaukee, which has dropped eight of its last 10.

Williams hit a 3-pointer with 1:50 to go to give Brooklyn a 94-83 lead but Sanders' three-point play four seconds later kicked off a 9-0 run to make it a two-point game. Williams' free throw with 3.4 seconds left put the Nets up 97-94 before Ellis drew the foul and wasted the potential game-tying opportunity at the line.

Moments after Jennings' first miss, he hit a 3-pointer to give Milwaukee a 71-61 lead with 3:06 left in the third quarter. The Bucks were up 74-63 after Ekpe Udoh's basket late in the quarter, but they would go the next 6:44 without a basket to allow Brooklyn to begin its comeback.

GAME NOTEBOOK
