Heat 111, Clippers 89: LeBron James erupted for 30 points in 31 minutes as undermanned Miami easily handled visiting Los Angeles.

James shot 9-of-11 from the field and is connecting at a 72.9-percent clip during Miami's four-game winning streak. Dwyane Wade added 20 points despite battling a flu that knocked starting forward Chris Bosh and key reserve Ray Allen out of the lineup.

DeAndre Jordan's 17 points paced the Clippers while point guard Chris Paul was held to three points in his return from a knee injury. Paul, who had missed 12 of the previous 14 games, shot 1-of-5 with two assists and three turnovers in 20 minutes.

James' 15 points and a dominant second-quarter effort put Miami ahead 62-50 at the break, and the Heat needed little time to expand on their advantage in the second half. James scored the first seven points of a game-breaking 14-0 run early in the third quarter, and Mario Chalmers added a pair of 3-pointers to send the Heat into the fourth ahead 93-68.

With the majority of the starters stapled to the bench for the entire fourth quarter, Norris Cole's layup made it a 30-point game with nine minutes remaining. Miami cruised from there despite getting just one made field goal the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Clippers G Chauncey Billups (foot) was back in the lineup for the first time since Dec. 3. Billups finished with seven points and four assists in 16 minutes. ... James connected on four of five 3-point attempts for the Heat, who finished 15-of-27 from beyond the arc. ... Los Angeles PF Blake Griffin had 13 points in 24 minutes after missing the previous two games with a strained hamstring.
