Cavaliers 122, Bobcats 95: Kyrie Irving scored 22 points and Dion Waiters added 19 as host Cleveland cruised to its fifth win in seven games.

Tristan Thompson contributed 17 points and nine rebounds for the Cavaliers, who shot 56.5 percent from the field en route to a season-high scoring total. The Cavs have won 14 of 15 all-time meetings in Cleveland.

Byron Mullens had 15 points and seven rebounds in 17 minutes and fellow reserve Ramon Sessions added 14 points for the Bobcats, who wrapped up a winless five-game road trip and have lost eight of their last nine road games.

Cleveland led by 11 after one quarter and broke it open in the second. The Cavaliers held Charlotte scoreless for more than four minutes while reeling off a 14-0 run to extend the margin to 50-29, and the Bobcats never threatened again.

Tyler Zeller's layup to end the third quarter gave the Cavs 100 points, and they emptied the bench in the fourth. Wayne Ellington scored 16 points off the bench and Marreese Speights added 11 points and 10 rebounds as Cleveland continued its streak of six straight games with at least two reserves scoring in double figures.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Bobcats leading scorer Kemba Walker was limited to five points on 2-for-11 shooting, ending his streak of 18 consecutive games scoring in double figures. … Cleveland committed only six turnovers and has averaged 11.8 over the past 10 games. … Charlotte was without rookie forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (concussion) for the second consecutive game.
