Jazz 98, Kings 91 (OT): Randy Foye scored six of his 20 points in the extra session and Al Jefferson had 15 points and 12 rebounds as Utah improved to 18-5 at home.

Paul Millsap and Alec Burks added 14 points apiece and Derrick Favors had 13 points and nine rebounds for the Jazz. Foye hit a jumper 15 seconds into overtime and Utah never trailed again.

Jason Thompson had 23 points and 10 rebounds, Tyreke Evans tallied 20 points and Isaiah Thomas added 17 for the Kings, who completed a 1-5 road trip by playing the second half without ejected DeMarcus Cousins.

Sacramento led 66-62 after three quarters and was leading by seven with under 4 1/2 minutes to play before the Jazz rattled off nine straight points to take a two-point lead with 1:58 to play. Evans hit two free throws with 58 seconds left for the Kings to force the overtime.

Utah had a 10-point lead before Sacramento scored the final nine points of the first half to pull within 44-43. Cousins received a technical with 2:23 left in the half and received his second one shortly after the half ended.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Utah was 7-of-12 from 3-point range to overcome a season-worst 22 turnovers. Sacramento was 3-for-20 from behind the arc. … The two technical fouls raise Cousins’ league-leading total to 12. He had 10 points and six rebounds. … The Jazz were without swingman Gordon Hayward (shoulder) and point guard Earl Watson (leg).
