Jazz 109, Cavaliers 98: Randy Foye scored 20 points to lead six players in double figures and Derrick Favors added 19 as host Utah posted its third straight victory.

Al Jefferson contributed 14 points and 11 rebounds while Enes Kanter also scored 14 points for the Jazz, who improved to 13-4 at home.

Dion Waiters had 23 points and Kyrie Irving added 18 and nine assists for the Cavaliers, who completed a 1-4 road trip.

Cleveland held a six-point lead midway through the first quarter and went ahead 23-21 on Luke Walton's 3-pointer with 2:08 left in the period. But Utah scored the final five points of the period to take a three-point lead and never trailed again.

The Cavaliers forged three ties in the second before a jumper by DeMarre Carroll with 2:15 remaining put the Jazz ahead for good at 47-45. Foye closed the third quarter with a 3-pointer that opened up a 16-point advantage, and a jumper by Kanter with 7:22 to play in the fourth gave Utah its biggest lead at 95-77.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Jazz improved to 8-5 since G Mo Williams went down with a thumb injury. ... Irving failed to record a steal, snapping his streak of five straight games with at least three. ... Utah was 6-of-16 from 3-point range, with Foye making 4 of 8 shots from beyond the arc.
