Chris Paul led the way with 27 points and nine assists as host Los Angeles got some revenge for a loss earlier in the week by crushing Golden State.

Blake Griffin added 20 points and seven assists while Eric Bledsoe scored 17 points off the bench for the Clippers, who had suffered a 115-94 shellacking at Golden State on Wednesday.

Los Angeles quickly made sure the tables would turn in this meeting, holding the Warriors to three field goals in the opening quarter to jump out to a 35-12 lead. Griffin scored 14 points in the period and collected three assists.

The Warriors recovered offensively in the second quarter but could not get the stops on the defensive end and had to settle for a 67-43 deficit at the half. The Clippers shot 61.4 percent in the first half while Golden State connected on only 35 percent of its attempts.

Paul hit three 3-pointers and scored 10 points during the first 3:15 of the third quarter as Los Angeles pushed the lead to 80-47. It grew to 96-57 on Paul’s basket later in the period before the Clippers pulled the starters and coasted to the finish.

Klay Thompson scored 14 points for the Warriors, who had their four-game winning streak snapped. David Lee and Stephen Curry each were held to 10 points.
