Warriors 115, Clippers 94: Stephen Curry scored 25 of his 31 points in the first half and David Lee had 24 points and 13 rebounds as host Golden State handed Los Angeles its second straight defeat.

Curry made six 3-point baskets and Klay Thompson connected on five as part of a 19-point effort as the Warriors won their fourth consecutive game.

Jamal Crawford scored 24 points and Chris Paul added 23 for the Clippers, who had won a franchise-record 17 straight games before losing their last two outings.

Golden State used a 20-1 first-quarter barrage to pull away early. Los Angeles had a 7-6 lead before the surge, which ended on a 3-pointer by Thompson to give the Warriors an 18-point lead with 4:13 left in the opening stanza.

The Clippers pulled within 43-41 midway through the second quarter before Golden State answered with a 15-4 run. The Warriors led 62-49 at halftime as Los Angeles shot just 37.2 percent from the field.

Golden State’s edge was 18 after three quarters and Los Angeles was unable to make a significant run in the final period. The lead topped out at 24 points.

Harrison Barnes added 13 points and nine rebounds and Jarrett Jack tallied 11 points for the Warriors, who had a 53-38 rebounding advantage while improving to 11-4 at home. Matt Barnes added 19 points for the Clippers, who finished at 36.3 percent from the field.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Golden State has beaten the Clippers twice this season. The teams meet again Saturday in Los Angeles. … The Warriors were 12-of-23 from 3-point range. … Clippers F Blake Griffin had just 10 points on 2-of-11 shooting.
