Nuggets 110, Bobcats 88:
Kosta Koufos scored a season-high 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Kenneth Faried added 15 points and nine rebounds as host Denver handed Charlotte its 15th consecutive loss.

Andre Iguodala collected 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists while JaVale McGee scored 14 points off the bench for the Nuggets, who have won four of five.

Ramon Sessions scored 23 points off the bench and Byron Mullens recorded 16 and 14 boards for the Bobcats, who had losing streaks of 16 and 23 games last season.

Iguodala and Danilo Gallinari hit back-to-back 3-pointers and scored five points apiece during a 12-2 run in the second quarter that extended the lead to 56-41. Gallinari’s 3-pointer on the final possession of the period made it a 64-46 gap at the break.

Koufos scored six points in the first 4:14 of the third as Denver pushed the lead out to 25. Charlotte never managed to get closer than 20 points the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Bobcats will try to avoid their 16th straight loss when they head home on Wednesday to face the defending champion Miami Heat. … The Nuggets, who have played more road games than any other team in the NBA, improved to 8-1 at home. … Denver scored 78 points in the paint while Charlotte managed only 40.
