Anthony had 15 points in the final quarter to put the Knicks in position for Kidd's dagger, his sixth 3-pointer of the game. Kidd finished with 18 points, connecting on 6 of 8 shots from behind the arc.

J.R. Smith had 16 points off the bench for New York, which erased an early 17-point deficit to win for the seventh time in eight games and avenge an overtime loss in Brooklyn last month.

Andray Blatche scored 23 points and Deron Williams had 18 points and 10 assists for the Nets, who have lost four straight at home and remain winless in December despite shooting 52.9 percent.

New York trailed by six points with eight minutes to play before Anthony scored nine points in a 12-4 run to give his team only its second lead of the game at 93-91 with 2:45 to play. The Nets had two chances to tie in the final seconds but Gerald Wallace and Williams both misfired on 3-point attempts.
