Nets 99, Kings 90: Andray Blatche scored a season-high 22 points on 11-of-12 shooting and visiting Brooklyn won its fifth consecutive contest.

Deron Williams had 14 points and 10 assists, MarShon Brooks scored 14 points and Brook Lopez and C.J. Watson added 13 points apiece as the Nets handed Sacramento its fifth consecutive loss.

DeMarcus Cousins scored 29 points and Tyreke Evans added 21 for the Kings, who have lost four straight home games.

Blatche connected on all nine of his first-half shots while scoring 18 points to help Brooklyn to a 54-42 halftime lead. He hit his first second-half shot and finally missed with 2:17 left in the third quarter.

Sacramento was within 76-74 with just over nine minutes to play before going more than five minutes without scoring. The Nets rolled off eight straight with a basket by Brooks accounting for a 10-point lead. The lead reached 89-76 with 3:21 left on another hoop by Brooks before Cousins scored inside for Sacramento’s first field goal in more than seven minutes.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Nets forward Gerald Wallace (ankle) returned after missing six games and had four points in 25 minutes. … The Kings were just 10-of-19 from the free-throw line while New Jersey made 22-of-25 attempts. … Brooklyn’s bench outscored Sacramento’s reserves 52-26. The Kings had produced more bench points than seven of their first nine opponents.
