Nets 98, Trail Blazers 85: Joe Johnson led the way 21 points and Brook Lopez scored twice in a decisive run in the fourth quarter as Brooklyn dispatched visiting Portland.

Deron Williams collected 15 points and 12 assists and Lopez finished with 15 points and eight rebounds for the Nets, who improved to 6-1 in their new home.

It was tied up at 74-74 with 8:32 left in the fourth quarter when Brooklyn made its move. C.J. Watson took a feed from Johnson and drained a 3-pointer to spark a 15-4 run over the next 4:36, capped by Williams finding Gerald Wallace for a layup.

Williams hit a 3-pointer and found Kris Humphries for a layup with 1:57 remaining before the Nets emptied the bench.

Wesley Matthews scored 20 points and J.J. Hickson recorded 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Blazers, who had all five starters reach double figures.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Matthews and rookie Damian Lillard combined to go 6-of-12 from 3-point range but were just 6-of-18 from inside the arc. … Wallace, who was traded from the Blazers to the Nets last season, had his only two points of the game on that layup in the fourth quarter. … Williams recorded a career-high four blocked shots, including three in the first quarter alone.
