Nets 86, Clippers 76: Brook Lopez scored 26 points and Joe Johnson added 19 as host Brooklyn snapped a two-game losing skid.

Deron Williams had 11 points and eight assists, Reggie Evans grabbed 12 rebounds and the Nets held Los Angeles to 29 points and 30.3 percent shooting in the second half.

Chris Paul had 14 points and nine assists, Griffin also had 14 points and Jamal Crawford tallied 13 for the Clippers, who committed 20 turnovers while losing their second straight contest.

The contest was tied at 74 after Crawford’s fast-break basket with 4:15 remaining. Brooklyn responded with 12 consecutive points, a surge that included two baskets by Lopez, a 3-pointer by Johnson and five free throws.

The Clippers finished the first half with a 16-4 run to take a 47-40 lead. Brooklyn held Los Angeles to 16 third-quarter points on 5-of-19 shooting for a 63-63 tie entering the final quarter, and then limited The Clippers to 13 fourth-quarter points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Los Angeles had a 45-35 rebound edge and collected 17 on the offensive boards. DeAndre Jordan had eight of his 13 rebounds on the offensive end. … Clippers forward Caron Butler (shoulder) was back in the starting lineup after a one-game absence and had seven points in 32 minutes. … Nets forward Gerald Wallace (ankle) returned after missing Wednesday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors and had eight points in 38 minutes.
